AoL #12 - A Small Taste of Victory

Subject number 4, finally a success. What is left to do now is to synchronize the modules on the [Ravager] with the test setup, and ready the remaining [Silktails] for shipping to Earth. Of course, we will need to have it disguised like the previous ones to avoid the Emperor's suspicion. He, who clearly still does not understand his place, has stubbornly demanded not to keep any of this thing alive, and that all encounters must be dealt with the most lethal force possible. At least, we know now how to terminate them effectively, and safely, instead of having to rely on His Majesty ancient method of brutally shelling them.

Made with Blender and GIMP. This was initially planned as some kinda corridor scene, but couldn't manage to get a satisfying viewpoint... The red wings are taken from the [Silktail] model, obviously. Texture for the equipment is based on [this idea]. The five surrounding apparatus was made utilizing the [array modifier trick] (no hard-to-modify 'Spin' tool needed, yay!) ... and yay also for the all-void-and-totally-black-nothingness BG!  :3
